Remember

Elephrend remembers so you never forget

Save the people who matter along with their birthdays, the events you care about, their interests, and the small preferences you would rather not lose track of. Elephrend schedules the reminders, so the date shows up with warning instead of as a surprise.

Reminder timing and quiet hours are yours to set, and reminders arrive as notifications on your phone.

Just talk

Just talk, we'll remember

Give Elephrend microphone and speech recognition permission and it turns what you say into a live transcript while you talk. Save the interaction and you keep the transcript along with an AI summary, the topics that came up, and any action items — without typing a word.

Today's build saves the transcript text. It does not save synced audio recordings.

Thoughtful gifts

Thoughtful gifts, effortlessly

Elephrend uses what you have already told it about someone to suggest gift ideas, pull together a summary of where things stand, and draft a message for the occasion — so a birthday does not turn into a blank-page problem.

Generating one of these sends the relevant contact context to Groq, the AI provider Elephrend uses. The privacy policy spells out exactly what goes with the request.

Privacy

You are telling it about your friends. That deserves care.

Elephrend holds the kind of detail you would only mention to a friend. Here is what actually happens to it — no vaguer than the privacy policy, and no more flattering.

  • Local-first by default

Elephrend keeps your app data on your device. When you are signed in it can also sync to your account, so your notes are there on another device.

  • Not used to track you

Your data is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. No precise location, no advertising identifiers, no browsing history.

  • Permissions only when needed

Contacts, microphone, speech recognition, notifications, and photo access are each requested only when a feature needs them, and you can decline and keep using the app.

  • Phone contacts stay put

For contacts linked to your phone, the phone numbers, email addresses, and birthdays read from your device are designed to stay on the device rather than sync.

  • Export or delete, from the app

You can export your synced data as a JSON file, or delete your account — which removes your synced data, your sign-in, and the app data on your device.

  • The full list of services

Running the app takes outside services: Supabase for accounts and sync, PostHog for analytics, RevenueCat for subscriptions, Groq for AI features. The policy names what each one receives.

Every line above comes from the full privacy policy. Read it before you trust us with anyone's birthday.
